  1. Location and movement are more important than speed. Concentrate on locating with the speed you have.

  2. i would say maybe around 75 80. but thats just an estemate. it all depends on you size and how much power you have in your body.

  3. The average 14-15 year-old pitcher throws around 60 mph and that equates to the ability to throw 196 feet. Remember though, that the 4 most important things for a pitcher are...

    (1) LOCATION

    (2) MOVEMENT

    (3) DECEPTION

    (4) VELOCITY

If you aren't a pitcher just expect to throw with a bit less speed then the average pitcher.

  4. 75 mph

  5. 65-73  is a good arm for a 15-16 year old.  These people saying 80 are rediculous!  Only a few ball players can ever in their life throw 80.   I know as a senior in high school, I was clocked at 84mph  by the local police at one of our games and had by far the best arm on my team and we took went to the state championship only to lose 6-5.  Unless you've been clocked by a legit radar gun, and not at a carnival where there is no mound and you are not wearing cleats etc..  you won't know for sure.

You didn't mention whether you are a pitcher or not.  Cause if you're not a pitcher, it doesn't matter how hard you throw, as long as you have a big bat.  h**l, Luis Gonzales (long time Cub) couldn't hit 60 on a radar gun and he's been a starter in MLB his whole career.  There are plenty of weak arms in the majors.  But of course as a pitcher, UNLESS you have great stuff, you are gonna need 90 + to make it to the bigs!  Good luck to ya.

  6. in 60's or 70's if you are really good they throw high 80's maybe 90's.

  7. 70-80 mph

  8. between 70 and90

  9. somewhere from 100-120.

it really depends on what you are planning on playing. If you are a pitcher you probably want to throw in the 80's to the 90's, but even then, you dont really have to, Location is very important (look at Tom Glavine).

If you play another position, velocity doesnt really matter that much...i guess unless you are a catcher

  10. 68mph-78mph

  11. I know kids that top off at about 64, but they change speeds well and have other good pitches, while I know kids who toss harder than 80.  I am a high school sophmore and throw a max of 74, and most kids on my team who pitch throw around that speed.
