How fast should i be going when wakeboarding??

i can never seem to jump the wake!!! i do what everyone says to but can only make it half way. i havnt got a wakeboard boat the wake is small but i thought maybe if i went faster...???? what speed do u guys jump the wake or just go at???

  1. i dont think it's the speed, but the firmity with which you pull the jump.

    Hold on tight to that rope and pull at a sharp angle.

    Hold strong with the legs to counter the wake.

    that might be it.

    Cause a 3 mph difference of speed will maker your jump a 15 ft one or a 3 ft flop


  2. Go as fast as possible.  Losing your trunks is fun!

  3. depends on the boat / rope length and the boarders weight. Our Malibu wake gets dialed in at around 20mph. you should be somewhere between 18 -22. the faster the boat goes the smaller the wake gets. try shortening the rope Length to put you at a better place...plus its easier to go wake to wake because the distance traveled is less.
