  1. well, i persoinally run 800's and 400's myself and my times are very similar to yours. At a school level i have found a reasonable time to be around 2.05 which should be very achievable for you as your 400 time is 53. but if you want to go further with your running and reach a state or even national level, it really depends on your age. u/15 800 times at state range from about 1.55- 2.05. u/16 1.53- 2.03 and open could be anything from 1.49 to 2.00.

good luck with your running, i hope this has been helpfull

  2. 148.

  3. maybe 2 min. and 15 sec. ??

  4. just under 2minutes

the way i see it you can do it aroundd

    1:55-1:59 ?

some guy from my school runs about as fast as you run and thats how fast he does it :P

and i suggest you don't do too much distance running... middle distance is okay but no extreams [ ex 2miles.]  sprint more and do some middle distance ! practice your 800s and do a mile for practice .  it helps

good luck in the future !

  5. No Real way of knowing.  800 metres calls for different fuelling Systems or combination there of: You may not have good 800 metre potential compared with you 400 metres, then again you could have better,

30% approximately of your 800 metres will come from aerobic fuelling- maybe more. Your 400 metres will have very little Aerobic fuelling.  Times for 800metres from athletes posting your times for 200 & 400 metres vary considerably.

How fast could Michael Johnston run 800 metres in?  It was not comparable with his 200 and 400 metre times.

Where the fuelling system is the same as in 10K, Half Marathon & Marathon the time is easier to predict

  6. I'd have to say 2:04-2:10 range. I was on a very good track team for two years and we had 4 guys running anywhere from 1:57 to 2:02. And your 200m and 400m are pretty good by the way. Im 17, 6"1, 173, and im going to be a senior, and my 200m is a low 23.22 unofficially and 23.4 official and 400m is also a 53. And i beat 95% of the ppl i race for the 200m so those are good times.

  7. My best 400 time is 55, and my 800 time is 2.02.  I am a lot stronger than I am fast though.

  8. 2:02-207 i had a friend run that this yrs and hes 6'2 164 and his 200 was no 23 more like a 25 and a 400 time of 52 so and he had a stride like a horse wat made him show big im-prvoe-ment wit speed edurance workout

  9. Purdy numbers has those efforts being similar to a 2:03-2:06 800.

I would say that if you decided to refocus to 400-800 (I assume you focus on 200-400 now), you would improve both of those times and be pretty successful.  A 23.8 just doesn't jump off the page to me.

    Good luck.
