How fast should you go in your second driving lesson?

In my first driving lesson I was only going at about 15mph to get used to the steering, etc.

If the speed limit says 25...go 50....they love that and will give you extra points for being so brave :)  Good luck.

How about the speed limits?

Its dangerous to go that slowly.

If your not comfortable going any faster ask if you can practice in a car park.

Go as fast as your instructor says to go! Your instructor will know if he/she wants you to go fast or slow so don't worry! If I have a pupil who is very nervous and is finding steering hard, I don't really want them to go crash my brand new car, scrape my alloys or damage my tyres, so I let them trundle around corners steadily, but get them to speed up on the straights so they get used to speed AND the steering.

just remember, EVERYONE is different, and everyone can do different things, and learns at different speeds! There is no definite structure or plan you must follow when learning to drive, instructors have to constantly adapt lesson plans to suit the individual.

Have fun, listen to your instructor and try your hardest - noone can ask you for any more than that :)

i say go 20 to 30. going below 20 nowadays people will honk and curse at you and try to skip you.

i went around 20..but dont rush urself it depends on different people, jus get used to the steering and the roads then increase ur speed once uve gotten used to everything!

Keep within the speed limit, and at a speed you feel comfortable at.

Remember the limit is not a target...so don't feel you MUST drive at that speed.

The important thing is that you are comfortable with the speed and that you aren't causing a danger to other road users.

just right because if u go to slow then the teacher will think that you dont know what u arer doing and if you go to fast then he will think your crazy
