a 340 will top out at around 55-60 mph. depending on size of rider and snow/surface conditions. Just to let you know, the top speed on a stock 1998 polaris storm 800 is around 110. 152 is laughable unless it was on glare ice with no studs. the track was spinning that fast, he wasn't. unless he had a full blown race engine. world speed record is 155.10 for a prostock 1000cc on asphalt by Paul Austin.

it depends i drove my buddys 1998 polaris and had it up to 152mph its a rush but dangrous.its probly got to go at least 60mph which is fast enough.you really dont want to go to fast i wiped out doing 50mph last year and broke my knee it hurts and no matter how good you are you have a chance to wipe out i am very good handling at high speeds and whipping sleds around but i hit a big drift and did not realize i was going to hit it and bam.i the hospital ride on be carefull anything can happen
