How fast will her hair grow?

My dad cut my little sisters hair, and she hates it. And it doesnt look good on her. The pictures are around her hair length, she had it at her shoulders and she would like it back.

And she has ben crying very hard for the past couple days.

Its really sad, and i hate to see her this way, How fast will her hair grow? Any tips on helping her hair grow faster? 10 points! : )

I cant really help with things that would make it faster, but I had mid-back length hair and then I cut it to my shoulders, and my stylist warned me my hair would be in shock for a few days and a few regular washes, and would not grow much for the first 1-2 months after the cut.

My hair has been cut numerous times since then, but if I had left it it would be about three inches from the level I had had before.

Its been about a year and two months.

Hair grows approximately a half inch a month, sometimes more, sometimes less.  Half inch is average.  Was he punishing her? So sad, your a nice sister to care.

You could try giving her Biotin vitamins as they are highly recommended for healthy hair and apparently make it grow faster. I'm currently taking them to try and make my hair grow faster but have only been taking them for about 3 days so no results yet!

Just make sure she eats a balanced diet and drinks 2litres of water everyday as that really does help.

You can also try scalp massages for five minutes everyday as it stimulates the hair follicles.

Other than that why don't you take her to a proffessional salon to get it fixed? Or you could even try extensions.

Well I would say the only way I know that makes your hair grow fast is taking vitamins on a daily basis. Vitamis with Biotin in them make your hair grow faster than vitamins without it. I don't know how old your sis is but if she's old enough I say go to the store and get her Biotin vitamins they're like 4 dollars at the drug store. There's also this website called Hairfinity that's suppose to make your hair grow up to 1 inch per month. I'm waiting for my vitamins in the mail now and hopefully my hair will grow even faster! But realistically your sister should only expect between 1/2 inch and 3 inches of hair growth between now and December. Good luck to her

There is no way to make your hair grow "faster" you just have to have patience. Here are some tips that could help though;

Take a daily multi-vitamin. Depending on how old she is find the proper one for her with B vitamins (B12) and Vitamin E.

Make sure she eats protein and drinks the recommended daily 7-8 cups of water.

Massage the scalp for 5 mins to stimulate hair growth.

Do not shampoo every day, this should only be done 2-3 times a week. But you can condition everyday.

Get trims! Half an inch will be fine, just make sure you don't have any split ends stopping you.
