exactly how fast would a man have to fly to fly safely through spinning helicopter blades without getting hurt. imagine.. and what would he say?

  1. Let's say the rotor has 4 blades and spins at 400 rotations per minute. That means that it makes 1600 quarter turns per minute. Each quarter turn would therefore be 0.0375 seconds long.

    Let's say that the guy is 5'10" (70 inches). So he would have to travel more than 70 inches in 0.0375 second.

    70 inches ~ 0.0011 miles

    0.0375 seconds ~ 0.00001 hours

    0.0011/0.00001 = 110 miles per hour

    His speed would therefore have to be greater than 110 miles per hour. That's assuming of course that it was timed perfectly. He would also have to be a bit faster to account for the width of his body and the width of the blades.

    He would probably say "Holy sh-" and then he would die.
