  1. A person is mordidly obese if he has a bmi greater than or equal to 40.  To calculate: (weight*703)/(height*height) where Weight is in pounds and height is in inches.

Example:  400 lbs on 5'9 frame is morbidly obese

  2. It as to do with the obesity "causing morbidity"

like causing:  joint/orthopedic problems, sleep apnea, weight and size overwhelming the cardiovascular system (congestive heart failure, hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, stasis ulcers), fatty infiltration of the liver (cirrhosis) diabetes, strokes, deep vein thrombus, pulmonary  embolism etc..

I might guess that someone has come up with a height & weight chart that factors in when the co-morbid problems start to significantly manifest.

  3. If you can see you wang and your feet, you're okay. If they're becoming distant memories on the other hand, i'd advice dieting and some exercise, ASAP.

  4. It depends on your BMI (body mass index)...find your age, height and weight and calculate your BMI with a chart- they are usually online. Hope this helps.

  5. I think morbidly obese is someone who can't control there eating probably cant wipe there own **** and couldnt jog to catch a bus this is something to go by i should think

  6. over 300lbs, When Doctor Phil had to airlift that woman out of her house.

  7. wel say 5'0" and 300 pounds that morbid! obese!

say 6'0" and 600 pounds way Morbidly OBESE! like a volley ball!
