  1. I believe you are the same before and after unless something specific changes things. You can never tell if you can get pregnant after giving birth because you can de3finitly get pregnant before your first period...remember you ovulate BEFORE you have a period and while you ovulate is when you can become pregnant. Wth my first and second child I never had a period...a bit over 2 years with no period! but i had 2 children. Some things you just cant tell...

  2. i just saw this question?

anyway every woman is diffrent. some woman (even not breastfeeding) dont get their cycle back for several months.

my step mother was pregnant again by her 6 week check up but i think that is alittle outside the normal.

if you are just thinking if it happens it happens then just keep doing what you are doing.

i was the same. i wanted another baby and was waiting. but i was breast feeding so it took me 8 months to get it back. but i was pregnant as soon as i got the first one. never got a second period.lol.

good luck!!! close kids are tons of fun!!!

  3. First of all your body needs time to recover, they say it takes one year. Yes you are a lot more fertile after giving birth once.

It took me 3 years to get pregnant the first time, and the one and only unprotected time after I got pregnant and I was on my period flowing heavily.

It is great you want more kids but give your body a chance, 6 weeks is not long enough, regardless if you are breastfeeding or not.

And it may be all bliss now but wait until a child is puking or up all night from an ear ache. 2 makes it twice as hard at these time, enjoy your baby alone for a year and then start trying.
