How french is Pointe-de-l'Église/Church Point?

Question

I'm thinking of going there for an immersion program, but I'm looking for a city where I will have virtually no chance to speak English. Exactly how French is Pointe-de-l'Église??

Point de l'Eglise is very much a francophone community.  It is not a city so if your looking for a place with a large population base, going to the Universite Ste Anne probably isn't your best bet...however, having said that it is definitely well known for its quality immersion program.  So, I think you will do absolutely fine.  If I'm not mistaken, they also have quite a strict policy about not speaking english on campus...I think.  It's been a while since I was there.

You would be better to find a Town in Quebec for a good  immersion

program.
