How frequently should i update it?

Do i do it every day or monthly so that i get more people coming to the website?

Experienced affiliate marketers please help out! Thanks!

Add fresh content every 2 days. You can also submit articles daily, if possible, to article directories like Ezine Articles, GoArticles etc.

By adding fresh content to your site and putting a note that your site is updated frequently, visitors may keep returning. Even if they didn't buy from you the first time they may do at the second or third visit.

Make sure all content is related to the affiliate program you are promoting.

If you want to keep ahead of the game I would say every 48 hours.  The opposition is tough out there, so if a thing is worth doing it is worth doing well.

Add a blog to your website and post to daily to start with and then you can drop back to 2-3 times a week.

Blog posts make sure the search engines keep coming back as the content is freshly updated.

Just remember that for everyone who visits your site there are thousands that know nothing about you. If you have good quality content you don't want to be changing it continuously.

You need to concentrate on getting links back into your site. Submit some articles to other webmasters, leave comments on other blogs and forums.  Just make sure they are relevant.

Also promote your site to get traffic by using social networking sites.

From an SEO point of view as often as possible. Refreshing your homepage is also integral if you want a sustainable approach to appearing high within search engines. Try adding unique news and articles whenever you can.
