    hope that helps =]

  2. AOL has wonderful parental control blocks. I think that even if you don't use AOL for your internet provider I'm pretty sure you can still use their products. If not maybe you could see what your internet provider has to offer to block these sites from your children.

  3. What the h**l are preschool kids doing on the internet?

Come on get a grip on life.

You should be sent to jail

  4. strongly recommend to install NetDog p**n Filter : http://www.netdogsoft.com , it will block p**n sites quitely in the background when your kids're on the internet

  5. 1.Click "Tools"

    Click "Internet Options..."

    Click on "Content" tab

In the "Content Advisor" section click on "Enable..."

You are now in the Content Advisor. From here you can set your settings.

"Ratings" tab - Set rating levels for: language, nudity, s*x and violence.

"Approved Sites" tab - Name sites that you will allow your children to always view or name sites that you neve want your children to view, regardless of the site's rating.

    "General" tab

Allow or disallow your child to see sites that are not rated.

Create a password - this is great for use with older children. You set a password, then if your child goes to a site they want to see, but it is a disallowed site, you can allow the site using the password. You will have the option to always allow the site or only allow it this one time.

View or modify the rating system

Blocking Software - If you really want to use one of the many site blocking programs out there, here are a few for you to consider:

We-Blocker - Free. Create different settings for each child.

CyberSitter - Rated #1 by PC magazine 2003.

KidsNet - Disallows certain types of emails from getting through. Age specific settings.

CyberPatrol - Restrict instant messages, email and sites.

NetNanny - Monitor and restrict or control your children's Internet viewing.

    :)

  6. yell at him and tell him thats kinda nasty and tell him not to do it and punish him if he does it again

  7. Go to option if is IE, and put it as a blocked site

  8. Well, you could take away their internet priveleges, or watch them use the internet, or punish them if they do. Another way of checking is by using the History button.

  9. Here is a big "DUH" for you.  Why would any nine-year-old be on the internet unsupervised?  In addition to you supervision, consider filtering software like "net nanny".  Place the computer in full view of others...i.e. living room.  Turn on adult filters on search engines.  Password protect internet acess.

  10. go to kproxy.com

  11. Have your computer in the shared family space in your home. Only allow your children to use the computer while you are there. Everywhere they go is visible by you. If you don't trust your kids to not use it when your are not around, take a part of the computer off when it is not in use. This way they cannot access it without your permission.

I have not yet heard of a program that blocks 100% of p**n, or other seriously inappropriate websites. The best protection is parential supervision. There is no other guarantee. Good luck.

  12. SUPERVISE YOUR KID! the computer should be in the main room so all can see what c**p you are viewing.

  13. Under "tools" then  "Internet Options" "content" then enable content advisor  You will have to set up a password.  Sometimes it can be a pain because you have to approve each individual site, but once you get it set up it is wonderful.
