How good am I at sprinting?????

I just turned 13 and just finishe my 7th grade year entering the 8th grade I am undoubtingly going to be the captain on the track team. My school captains last year were BEASTS... One ran a 54 second 400 (He won counties) and the other ran a 11.7 (i think) in the 100m (He also won counties with 11.9)... Onto me. I ran a 58 second 400m and a 12.6 100m as a seventh grader... I believe I can definately cut down to their times next year when I'm captain...Do you think so???

Also last year coming in I didn't do a sport in a year and this year I'm going to be doing a sport from now until it starts (in march)

those are pretty good times, but it also depends on your competition next year. If they are better it might be a little harder. Who knows, maybe a new kid will run a 50 second 400 like I had to run against in middle school.

you can definetly do this i mean you were barley over there times in 8th grade you'll probably even get better then them!!

You're real good. You're early in your teenage years so there is alot that can be improved and you will get faster. Just keep pushing and working at it.

The times looking good.

Keep training, just to over push yourself too much.

run long distance better chance of scholarship. and cross country is way better if u do cross country get ur time to 12 min for 2 miles and u'll prolly hve a chance im an 8th grader to and thts my goal and yea 58 secs pretty good i can do one in bout 1: 05  but im a lond distance runnner so tht pretty good

but yea dude u'll will deffinently be a team captainw tih that kinda of time improve it more and ur lookin at a scholarship. Hope u win counties good luck.
