I understand you can get a root canal and crown for about 2000 pesos or $700. I'm going there anyway and $2100 is the price at home.

  1. The best!

Trust me. NOT only you will save money but have your procedures done very well. Altough, as "every-where" ther are good and not-so-good professionals. Try to find out before you go.

The best deal is on "implants" that cost 25% or less than the same in North-America!

  2. Hi there!

It is actually cheaper than that!

There are good and bad - just like the professionals at home.

We have compiled a list for our clients based on feedback we get from all our visitors to  http://www.buenosairesstay.com.

We make arrangements for our visitors via our staff (Argentinean), best to have a clear idea of what you need, so get a short laymans terms description and ask someone local to call - it is usually cheaper!

Please email me for a list: raemac@bastay.com

All we ask in return is your reveiw and a note of costs.

  3. Depending on how long you are staying, you can purchase health insurance and it would be covered for free. Good plans with no deductible cost about $100-150 US a month, so if you are staying here for more than several months, it's a good investment.

If it is just for a short trip, a root canal and crown is probably going to cost less than $700 US.  But, you need to make sure you have a reputable dentist.  Visit a Swiss Medical facility (Private Healthcare) and ask them for a dentist they would recommend.
