How good are Walmart roses, if I were to buy them in-store?

I'm looking to buy a dozen roses and I'm sort of on a budget, so I've deeply considered buying them from Walmart. I've been told this is the cheapest place possible, but I'm concerned about the quality.

As long as they long for about 3 days, it should be fine, and I'm getting them in-store, so I can pick out the good ones... right?

Oh my god my boyfriend bought me a dozen of walmart roses for valentines last year, they lasted one day, were droopy and wilted after one day, in water, and taken care of. They looked ok when he brought them home, but they do not last at all.
