roberts gemini 49 is great-it recharges itself ,it can be mains ,rechargeables,or ordinary batts-i think its about 60 quid

Totally depends on where you live, coverage is getting better but not yet perfect throughout the U.K

It wouldnt be guaranteed perfect hun, but i can tell you that it is much better than an analogue radio.  I think mine is great.

no one is Guaranteed a Perfect reception but my guess would be almost 99.5%

I've had mine a year, my daughter got me it for Christmas, unfortunately we don't have a good enough signal yet so apart from a couple of stations I can't listen to it.  It's a shame that my favourite station is not one of those I can get!  Before you get one check what the signal is like in your area.  I'm sure mine will be great in 2012 or whenever it is we are switching to digital!!

Santas link is great!!  I am likely to get some stations but not guaranteed and may need an outside aerial!!  Great!!

I'll be honest they are not as cracked up as they are made out to be.

a lot depends where you live too, a couple a others have posted very good links so you can check was is on offer where you live to tune into.

dab will get better in time and the prices will come down too.

me myself i would stick with analogue for now

The Gadget show tested 3 budget DAB radios and reckoned the best for sound quality and battery life was the Roberts at a tad under £60.
