I got a 2110 (720 critical reading, 680 math and 710 writing). They are all out of 800 if you didn't know, so 2400 is a perfect score. I am in NHS (and an officer in it), was a member of a city funded leadership group, have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, am ranked in the top 3% of my class, held a big yearbook editing position last year and during the summer I work. I take all honors and AP classes as well. Are my SAT scores and the previously mentioned things good eneough to get into Georgetown?

  1. That all depends on the rest of the applicants who apply at Georgetown.  There isn't a set of numbers that absolutely will get you in or not, it is all about how you do relative to the other applicants.  But it sounds like you are pretty well qualified.

  2. stop freaking the **** out and have a smoke.

you have done exceptionally well and seem to have cut off your crazy teenage years to prepare you for a brighter future, well done. you will get in. by what you wrote, we both know that. so enjoy the wind on your face next time you walk outside and appreciate how well things are. no need to ask such a foolish question on this site.

  3. you are exactly what they are looking for....but you need to make sure that you don't set your hopes too high.....they might have a large selection pool and there might...i stress the might....be better qualified people....but you shouldn't worry....i am sure you are very qualified.......good luck!!!!!!!!! are you going to be a senior???? well good luck then
