How good are the hotels you can book on hotwire.com?

I know they give you cheap prices and what not but how good are the hotels since they dont tell you what hotel you book until the process is complete?

pick 3 star or higher and it will be fine.

If you do a little bit of research, you can sometimes get a pretty good idea of which hotel is being offered.  [Look at the amenities offered - some are "unique" to a particular hotel that is being offered.]

Hotwire does state which hotels are typical for the different star levels.  

I recently got the Embassy Suites at PDX for $59.  Very nice!!

Stay   with your selection of 3 star or better and you will get not to bad of a place like Laquinta  Howard Johnsons ect if you want real cheap anything below 3 stars will be not to good.

all those travel sites are the same in order to save money you should find the hotels you like on those website and cross reference the price with the actual hotel.....for me it usually is cheaper with the actual hotel..but see for yourself
