How good are the kindergartens in Australia?

We're thinking of moving to Oz with our young son. How good are the kindergartens there and do they cost the same huge proportion of the average income as they do in the UK?

this do very much depend on where in australia are u moving to? for example, if you will go to pirth it is the most expensive i guess.

i think that kindergardens are slighty more expensive in australia than in the UK!
