How good do you think Somdev Devvarman will be?

I've asked this question before but no one answered it... He's the 2 time NCAA champion from UVA ... since I asked this question he won the Challenger in Lexington Kentucky and beat Robert Kendrick 6-3 6-3 in the final. He has not lost a match college and professional combined since February. His record is 20-0 since turning pro a couple of months ago. He's currently ranked 345 in the world. How good do you think he'll be? Do you think he'll make a splash at the US Open?

Top100 is possible But I don't think he will reach more. Maybe if he was 3-4 years younger...

Funny you ask he played a Futures level tournament where I live (Eastern NY) like a month ago and he completely destroyed everyone. It was amazing to watch him play. He won a bunch of Futures events like the one I saw, and he is doing well at the Challenger level as well. I think he will be in like top fifty in a couple of years.

I asked the same question too and I love this question! He did beat Isner and Isner is a top 100 level player. Devvarman is a very talented player but at the same time you have to look at his age. He is 23 already and he's almost in his prime. His winning streak is amazing and he will have his moments.

As for the US Open, he might make it to the main draw actually through a wild card. If not he'll prob qualify because he has beaten a few top 100 players and he can make the main draw, but the huge stage will destroy him. 1st round loss unfortunatly is my guess : (

I do think he'll be as high as 20-40 in two years maybe

he is 24 and hasnt done jack sh.it! he is a big fish in a small pond(i.e american tennis leagues)! he will never make it big! he has what 2 more yrs of his prime tennis! usually its 22-26yrs the prime of a tennis player! besides he beats these useless american tennis players!
