  1. He seems to me like he has developed into a solid, strong fighter over his past few fights- he looked superb in massacring Jason Litzaou.  I think that he would beat Orlando Salido if he fought him again (without Salido using steroids), but Guerrero is choosing to vacate his featherweight title in hopes of winning one at super featherweight, so the rematch with Salido won't happen.  Plus, its becoming too hard for him to make 126, so the move up in weight is probably well-suited.  He's a good southpaw fighter, and I also agree that he has good technical skills, which I think he has really improved on over his past few fights.  I'd like to see him face one of the following top-rated super featherweights in his next fight:

Rocky Juarez- a good "welcoming" fight into the 130 pound territory.  Juarez has faced Marco Antonio Barrera twice, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Humberto Soto.  He lost all of those fights, but he would be a stern test for Guerrero.  They were trying to make this fight happen at 126, but Juarez got an opportunity to fight Marquez at 130.  I think that Robert would beat Juarez if they ever fought.

Edwin Valero- he's a titleholder who is looking to get more recognition in the U.S.  A fight against Guerrero would be beneficial for both men- it gives Valero recognition and it gives Guerrero a shot at a world title against a very feared opponent (all of Valero's fights have been KO victories).  Not really sure who wins this one because Valero is still fairly unproven despite his awesome power.

Cassius Baloyi- he is another titleholder looking for more recognition.  I think that Guerrero could win this fight easily to give him his first world title at 130.

Alex Arthur- again, another titleholder looking for a notable opponent to get recognition.  Its a winnable fight for both men.  I'm not really sure who wins, although I lean towards Guerrero.

Jorge Barrios- a former titleholder who is a notable and very dangerous opponent for anyone.  If Guerrero can get by him, I think that he could really do something in the super featherweight division.

Humberto Soto- regardless of the "loss" that he just got because he was wrongfully disqualified, he remains as one of the top super featherweights in the world.  As a matter of fact, since Manny Pacquiao, Joan Guzman, and Juan Manuel Marquez are all moving up to lightweight, he is arguably THE best 130 pounder left.  Guerrero doesn't seem the type that could smoothly outbox Soto like Guzman did, and I think that he would get drawn into the trenches if he ever fought Soto (not a good place to go), but I believe that is still a winnable fight for him.
