I am a big Brett Favre fan but not a real big Jet fan. I don't know any good players on the Jets, so I don't know if they are good or not. Does anybody think the Jets make The playoffs? I looked at there schedule and if they play great they could possibly go 12 - 4. My prediction is 10 - 6. What happens to be yours?

  1. They're the Jets.

    3-13

  2. 5-11, at best.

  3. I don't know anything about the Jets.  If we can't have Brett in Green Bay, I wish he would've been traded to Tampa Bay.

What a shame and a mistake by Ted Thompson, for this whole mess.

Since Favre has come to Green Bay, we went from a very struggling team, to a team with a class act QB ....... if any of this were about the money - he woud've taken their (Green Bay's) offer to pay him to stay retired.

OK, let's see - if Brett plays for the Jets, I say they go 13-3 his first year.

I doubt that the folks here in Milwaukee will ever get to see him play.

    WE LOVE YOU BRETT!

  4. They will all be abducted by aliens........

  5. well i dont see why they need him

they have a good QB that brought them to win the superbowl

yeah i agree with you on the 10-6

  6. i think they will win the superbowl..

  7. Although Brett Favre is a legend QB and he had a phenominal year in GB last year, he is not as seasoned as he once was. I think the Jets snagging Brett was a mistake on their part....not that I don't think he'll do better than Chad...because he will, but I don't think Brett will make enough difference to take the Jets to the promised land....and he will end up retiring in a year or 2 at the most. I think they should've looked for a younger QB to build their future. Going with Favre means they are looking to succeed this year and possibly next year if he decides to play again.

The Packers made the right move in keeping Rogers...you don't shake up your whole organization for a player on the verge of retirement when you don't think he'll get the job done....much like New York should've done.

Now, as far as putting fans in the stands and selling jerseys.....it was probably a great move.

    I think they'll go 9-7.

  8. No playoffs for the Jets...considering the fact that the Patriots will take the division, Buffalo will have a strong chance of getting a wild card spot. The Jets and Dolphins will fight for last place.

  9. they wont make it sorry

    good players

    jonathan vilma

    lavernous coles

    vernon gholston

but they are in a hard devision

i think brett should have stayed with the packers or gone to the bucs

i dont think they jets have a chance

  10. It all depends on whether or not the team can gel. The team did acquire new talent and solidified holes in the defense and offensive line last year. However the team reallt consists of a lot of new or young talent. That being said the offensive leader of the team is also new and has to learn a new offense considering the Packer's offense was always tailer made to suit favre and his thorwing ability. that will be new for the Jets considering they never had a good are to even think about running an offense like that.

However an immediate impact Favre will give the Jets is some respect from opposing LB's and DE's. They wont have mediocre at best QB behind center anymore. they will Have a QB that can move and throw down field. This will not only give the Jet's a better chance for WR's to make moves but it wil open the running game up considering teams wil second guess rushing the QB.

All together I beleive that at best the Jets will go 10-6 with a possible Wild Card Spot. I do not think they will beat NE this year they will split games with Buffalo and crush Miami. Thats 3 - 3 in the division right there.

Out side of their division they have a semi-easy schedule. I think they will lose to CIN, SD, and SEA. There is my 6 loses for the year. They have the talent to beat the other teams but lets face it, not every team plays to potential.

  11. 10-6.........think about who is in their division........lets take a look at their schedule before we say stuff like that.

    week 2 is a loss

    week 3 is a loss

week 6 could be a loss

week 7 opponents may give them trouble

    week 11 is a loss

    week 12 is a loss

week 16 may be a loss

so they may be around 9-7
