How good does it make you feel to do good deeds for other people?

it makes me feel good because i feel wanted and appreciated. like if i make brwonies for my sister and her friends, whenever they say that they like my brownies i feel so happy.

i also feel good when i help elderly people because some are really nice and not that many people take time to talk to them.

but at other times good deeds can go wrong. i remember this one time when we were at costco, my dad offered to help the lady next to us put her groceries in  her car since it looked really heavy, and then when my dad finished putting the groceries in her trunk, he closed it. but her key was inside the trunk. my dad felt really awful and embarrassed. it was really funny. ahha

I work at the local Wal-Mart in my town and anytime I have an older lady or man come over to my area.. I always try to help them in any way that I can and make an effort to talk to them. I've talked to several of them, and they would always compliment and say that it meant alot to them that someone was caring and willing to listen to them. Because most of the time they are alone and have no family around. It breaks my heart when they tell me something like that.. but I know that taking a few minutes out of my work time made their  day better!

Great,usually when you do a good deed for someone that person hardly returns the favor.Therefore you should not look to be rewarded,if you are then count that as a blessing.

I feel real good - not because I feel I did something great but because I did as I was supposed to.
