  1. I have been using it about a year now no problems


  2. Instead of avast, go for kaspersky antivirus as it is powerful in detecting thumbdrive viruses than avast and is very light on system..

    you do not need to do a manual scan anymore


  4. Its one of the best in terms of free ones.  I run both Avast and Antivir though and Antivir seems to catch most problems.
