Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering deals with instruments used in industries. Not purely Electronics or Electrical. Job opportunities also less.(Not very less) If u r looking for highest paid salary in future, then this won't suit for U.

If u r getting it in a private college,then prefer going 4 electronics and communication engg otherwise if u r going to a reputed govt. college(like IITs/DCE) then it is very good.
