How good is Mahadevpura (Bangalore) in terms of amenities, connectivity etc. Is it a good place to reside?

I am new to bangalore and hunting for a place to live. I found the best house according to my constraints in Mahadevpura area, but it looks a bit deserted. Can anyone tell me if that area will make a good living experience?
