How good is SMT driver?

Like DEEP BORE 455, I heard it win many long drive contest, But I don't see any pro. use that driver, why?

They are excellent drivers when fitted and built correctly by a good clubfitter.

As for the pro tours, they don't/can't pay the same kind of money other companies do. Most pro's are contracted to use certain clubs.

For SMT and other component companies.. they will not pay any pro endorsements to use their clubs.. this is done to keep costs down..

Tiger Woods plays Nike clubs because well.. you know.. Nike pays him very handsomely to play their clubs..  Its all bout the $$ and marketing..  Nike is willing to dish out big bucks to let the world know about their clubs..

SMT and other component companies do not have this type of budget to market and advertise their products as the big names do..  This results in awesome products, but at a lower price for the consumer.
