How good is Sony Bravia 26" LCD?

Planning to buy Sony Bravia 26" LCD (S-Series - Model No. KLV-26S400A). The MRP is INR 34,990 and the dealer is offering it at INR 34,000. It is INR 2000 costlier than its competitor brands - LG and Samsung. Is it a good buy? Are there any complaints with this model? How is the picture and sound quality?

The two top rated 26" LCDs, for BOTH performance and reliability, are Panasonic and Sony, so you picked a winner. A little less expensive, but still a quality set is Toshiba followed, perhaps, by Sharp and Samsung.

i have a 46 in sony bravia lcd and the color and brightness is spectacular. 26 would be even sharper. its a great investment, theyre reliable and cheap for the performance. many of my close friends have purchased bravias too and none of them complained about anything. =]
