How good is a 350 watt sound system with a sub?

just got my 2008 honda civic coupe ex and im wondering how good is its 350 watt sound system? because Im thinking to change it with aftermarket speakers..

  1. If you are refering to the factory system (imo) not very good. Cheap paper cone speakers and nowhere near 350 watts. But if you like it than it's good enough...if you don't like it than it's not. Upgrading the speakers will bring you cleaner highs.

If you got the Factory Subwoofer System, its a very good setup.  The Stock Subwoofer is a 10" pioneer sub in the trunk in a plastic enclosure on the drivers side.  The location is great (no box in the middle of your trunk).  The sound is kind of light by aftermarket standards but very good for a factory setup.  

    The only weak link is the factory tweeters as you can barely hear them.  A stereo shop should be able to upgrade your tweeters for under 100$.

    Otherwise, the sound has very good range and the imaging is pretty good.  Best of all, no crook would run out and steal a factory sound system, (too embarassing for the crook).
