  1. According to the latest polls regarding customer service on airlines, all those positions have been eliminated.

  2. Experience as a CSA will be very valuable. If you can interact in a nice way with folks who will sometimes be very stressed itcan only count in your favour if you seek a new job later.

  3. I think your prospects are marvellous but customer service is hard, you have to be thick skinned and not take it personally. I've done it and hated it but you could be better at it than me

  4. good ONLY if u are a VERY strong personality.  u have to have that rare combination of being able to take people yelling at u, cussing at u, and getting mad at u that's NOT ur fault and yet STILL keeping a professional, civil, fair demeanor.  fair to them as possible yet keeping in policy with your airlines' rules!!!!!!!  CAN U DO THAT??

i couldnt because i like to be nice to people and i hate mean people anyhow!  but i DID work for airlines for a decade... just not in that dept!
