I am considering their deal where it is $250 for any 4 day cruise, from anyport, anytime. I've always done other cruiselines though, so I'm wondering how good they really are. Do they have good restaurants and entertainment? What's their best ship and destination? please tell me anything you can think of about them or an experience with them.

  1. It sucks. Avoid it at all costs. They will rip you off.

  2. The mass market lines are all pretty similar in quality, there are a few difference between them but the overall cruise experience will be on par with NCL or RCCL.  The main factor is the ship, each line has brand new mega ships that they use for the 7-10 day cruises and the older smaller ones for the shorter 3-4 day cruises. CCL overall has bigger staterooms then the other lines ( at least on it's older ships) and in my opinion slightly better food then rccl.  RCCL and NCL however are about 1/2 step more refined.  The 4 day cruises are usually more party oriented than the longer cruises. If you do a ccl cruise go for a fantasy class instead of the holiday though if possible.

  3. I just got back from a cruise on carnival and it was AMAZING!! I would recommend it to anyone!

  4. i love carnival.

however if you talk to someone royal carribbean they might tell you otherwise.

i've heard that the food on RC is much better than carnival.

    but carnival is more fun.

there is always something to see it's always a big party, a very spotneaous ship, and i like that. if you like a lot of structure (and a lot of quiet private time) carnival is NOT the ship for you. carnival is called "the fun ship" for a reason =)

  5. I have sailed many times with Carnival and love it (Ive been on RCL and wasn't that impressed)...basically i think you get a great value for your money and since all vacations are what you make of them always have a great time...that being said i think you will find a different crowd of people on shorter cruises than longer ones (7 plus days).....the rooms are larger and i found the food better on carnival....the clubs and drink prices very similar...and the clientele basically the same....if you can stay away from the short hop to the Bahamas you're better off (been on both CCL and RCL)...try the 5 day to key west and Cozumel or something longer....Ive been on 10 in the last 2 years (ev1 needs their own crack...lol) and love carnival...so whatever you choose have an awesome time
