  1. I haven't had any problems with them

  2. Thats a good question, I live here (China) and am Australian. The stuff here is so bad you can't believe it and when I go back to Oz I often buy Chinese made tools and other products and bring them back with me because although they are made in China they are made to basic Oz quality requirements. My Chinese friends are stunned that their own stuff can be so good. But its not all beer and skittles, the Chinese have precious little middle management to watch over quality control so you have to watch out for variances when you purchase any Chinese product - its this problem thats currently hurting Chinese products worldwide. The Bosses all go to lunch and often get drunk and leave the workers to themselves in the afternoon, this is not conjecture, ask any Westerner who lives here. By the way, some Chinese things are awesome and the best in the world such as their clothes but you only see the 10 cent T shirts and of course you then consider Chinese clothing rubbish. Most of the quality clothing brands of the world have their clothing made here but they won't tell you that!

  3. Depends on the product and manufacturer. It's largely a question of whether the US company is willing to pay for a manufacturer with decent quality control, etc. My experience is most "Made in China" products are okay, unless it's made by some no-name company and/or is ridiculously cheap (in which case you get what you paid for).
