hi, i was just wondering how good is the university chicago football team? how do you get recruited by them? and how good do you have to be? thanks.

they used to be good back in the early 20th century

the first ever Heisman winner came from University of Chicago, Jay Berwanger and he was also the first ever player to be drafted by the NFL

but those heydays are over their just an average D-3 school

you'd have to have a scout recruit you or you can join as a walk-on (tryouts), so either play good in high school or go to the field and tryout for the team

University of Chicago is Division III, which is pretty low down the food chain.

well i know for a fact that on vanderbilts sports page there is a recruiting waver that you fill out and they tell you if they're interested. U of Chicago? not sure i've never really heard of the program so i'm guessing not. also send in a highlight tape.

the most important thing 2 do to be recruited to ANY school is to send the football office of that university a highlight tape of yourself after your junior season...then everything will take shape
