How good of a camcorder is this?

It looks like it might e nice, but the screen looks a little bit thin so you will have to watch to use it carefully because it will probably break really easy. Also, it doesn't look like it comes with a lens for it so you'll have to make sure the lens won't get scratched or else i will have marks on the video when you record. Also, from what I read it was a 5 mpix so it may not be that good of video because they usually go higher than what it really is. You also want to look at the warranty and you have to remember it's from Wal-Mart, so it has a great chance of creaking not long after you get it.

Over all, it looks like a good camera if it's your first one or if you just want a small camcorder for simple things.

It's an alright camcorder, but it depends on what you're doing with it. One thing a saw that is a BIG no is that it only has digital zoom. If you want a good zoom capabilities, look for optical zoom.
