  1. i would say if u have the money to own and maintain a volvo they are great for the people who cant maintain there cars then volvo sucks.thay are very good cars. i have worked on them old and new.i would suggest if u plain to own one and keep it for many of years get a extented warrenty or sell it after the warrenty is up cause that upkeep is wut hurts front pads and rotors at the dealer i work at are at about $650.

  2. Pfft you should get it Edward has one :P

Then again.... Should get a rabbit Jacob has one xD

    Twilight...

Then again bored of the book.... err btw Haii

  3. Volvos were once very good cars but lately they seem to be living on their past reputation.  The last new Volvo I bought was a '98 S90 and it was just so much junk,  a huge disappointment. My 240 and 740 were outstanding vehicles and I still have my '66 1800 which will probably outlive me by many years. The 940 series was, in my opinion, the last good Volvo.

If you buy a new Volvo you should be prepared to spend lots of money on routine servicing and even more if something goes wrong. Newer Volvos have become too complicated for my tastes and are simply  not as reliable as the older models. I've been driving these cars for forty years but will never have another new one. Just my opinion based on lots of experience.

  4. 940/960 / S90 / V90 the last of the quality rear wheel drive Volvos. Unfortunately Volvo eventually bought into the disposable front wheel drive idea like most everyone else.

The older 200 and 700 series are great too, my '86 760 is up to 460K miles so far and still going strong.

  5. Very high quality, reputation for safety.

Personally, I'd rather have a Volvo than a Mercedes.

I'd rather have champagne too, but all I got is a beer budget.

  6. You might kind of go looking for something else. As long as you are only going to keep it until the warranty runs out, you will be pleased. If you keep it longer, be prepared to spend a tremendous amount of money to keep it on the road. Volvo used to make a good car. Now things break on their cars that never give you problems on others.
