well deserved by england. got them back for the looses before the rwc. but great sportsmanship shown in the game. had to laugh when caveman got stabbed in the eye by another frog. was nail biting. and i think the neighbours were annoyed by the noise coming from me.

@mucartney: I'm French and of course I'm very disappointed, but England really palyed well: good defense which deprived the French of a possible try in the second half, and of course MISTER Wilkinson, the sharp blade (lol) who cut France's hopes!

Well done, and as England will be the only remaining team of the northern hemisphere, I hope they will win again: 2 finals in a row would be nice.

Anyway you can be proud of your team, who, like France, doubted for a while but managed to overcome and finally are in final.

sorry to say it was average and yes for the first time in this RWC I would have to say England did deserve to win however they would need to step it up a few more notches to actually secure anything that would remotely look like the webb ellis trophy.

5 points good enough!  Who said winning wasn't everything? Ask the French how they felt about losing when they wake up this morning.

The drop goal by Jonny was vital because it meant the French needed more than a penalty kick to draw level.

It was awesome! Great game, great atmosphere and speaking as an Englishman, great result. Both sides made a really good game of it and it was a very very engrossing match.

In the words of Fergie. It was squeaky bum time. But i am proud of the lads and what they have achieved. they have gone frome laughing stock to world cup finalists in the space of 12 months or less. Win or lose next week I would not be anything but ENGLISH

How good! I describe it as one of the most gutless performance i've seen from the poms. Behind the brave defence they had, they played the type of football of a team that deserves to win a world cup. Alota patience, grind the opponents down as much as possible, keep it tight round the fringes of the rucks, and took their opportunities when offered! Great Work with the front rows, dominant up front is the key to winning tight battles!
