How good will the spurs be?

I was wondering you guys how good you think the spurs will be this year or is there run at titles done thank you.

The Spurs tend to win championships on odd years and next year's finals is 09. They have a lot going for them and so far having a streak of three this decade (03, 05, 07) if I would think that the Spurs would have a big chance of winning the finals next season.

well they dident add any impact bench players which they need so i think they will finish behind LA NO JAZZ ROCKETS and maybe PHX there gunna be 5th or 6th seed in the west unless they add someone b4 the trade deadline who can come off the bench and give em 12 - 15 pts a night i dont think they have a shot at a title this year the teams i named r getting better

How good they'll be this season will depend upon the health of there 3 stars( Duncan, Ginobili and Parker) will have to wai and see how far those old tired legs can keep going.

Duncan is getting old.. Everyone says Parker is the better player, but Duncan was doing all the work. Duncan is one of the best players in the NBA, but his age is catching up.

As long as they maintain that core of players (Duncan, Ginobilli, Parker, etc), they're going to be perenial contenders for a long time.

they'll make the playoffs but I don't think they'll seriously contend this year or in the coming years unless they get rid of some guys and bring in some younger players..Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker aren't enough to win a title anymore..not with other NBA teams improving the way they are

Spurs are major contenders every year, they still have their core of players. Last year Parker was a bit banged up in the Playoffs and ran out of steam during the Lakers series. They also seemed a bit confused on how to play defensively at times which is unusual.
