How happy are the organizers at the French Grand Prix that France failed at Euro 2008?

If France would have beat Italy in their last game they would have to play in today's quarterfinal. It would have been like the last World Cup with France playing a game during the same day as the French Grand Prix. I wonder how much lower attendance would have been if France played today? The organizers must feel relieved.
