I just finished Year 9 and haven't even got my SATs results! I don't really care about my SATs and I really want to know if the GCSE tests are difficult or not. Can someone help me out here?

  1. .,

  2. French is fairly easy, I mean you need to be secure with tenses and vocab etc, you do exams on listening, reading, speaking and writing so if I were you, I would get to grips with tenses, grammar and actually trying to sound French! History you need to be good at English in a way, you do have to write plenty in two years and that is not just coursework! You have to do in the exam 2 type of papers, one being a sort of essay writing session, the other being a sources paper, where you have to get the most out of the sources as you can. When you start your GCSE course, your teacher will go through everything about the subject you are taking, that's if they are any good (unlike the 100 odd supply teachers I had...) Long story short, if you are a bright student or a hard-working one, you will be okay with your GCSE's.

  3. French - EASY, History - HARD
