  1. If you are aiming for a 1600 (average, not really great, whatever)

then it shouldn't be too hard

if you are aiming for above 2000 (pretty good, noticeable) then it will require a lot of effort on your part through studying

if you are aiming for a 2250 or above (wow, Ivy League competitive) then you will have to work your butt off to get there

unless you are a genius, of course.  Then no worries

  2. If youre smart, easy to get 2100+

If youre average, easy to get 1600-1900, can get 2100+ but it hard

If youre below average, then its just hard.

  3. Personally I never did really great in school. Could easily get a`s in easy subjects, and B or C's in difficult ones with virtually no effort.

Good vocabulary, excellent memory, and good at writing.

So I figure, SAT's are going to be easy. Study a little, get maybe a 2000 score.

Didn't study, froze up in the essay section and didn't get to finish the math because I had a prior engagement that seemed more important to me at the time. Plus the vocabulary section was a killer.

Long story short, got a 1800.

Three years later I'm still wishing I had retaken, or that I still could.

My advice is give it the importance it deserves.

  4. not very
