How hard are the dash lights to change in a 1995 ford f150?

hi. im trying to make all of the lights in my truck red to match the truck. and i want to change all of the dash lights. how hard will this be? thanks

  2. It would be a bit of a challenge if you`ve never pulled an instrument panel out before. If it`s like my Ranger, the bezels around the climate control and instrument panels should just pop off, but be careful so as not to crack or break them. Also, there may be two screws up under the upper part the the instrument panel bezel that will have to be taken out. Once the bezels are off, you should see either screws or small bolts holding the instrument cluster and climate controls in place on either side of them. Take those out and ease the panels out enough to where you can get to the bulb sockets behind them. It`s best to turn on your lights so you can see which ones light up. Then simply twist the sockets counter-clockwise and they should come out. The bulbs are probably push-in type. Of course, you won`t be able to do this with your radio.

    Yeah, long-winded answer, I know, but figured I`d just go ahead tell you how it`s done. Hope this helps.
