  1. They are a lot of work, but if you take good notes, keep up with the reading, and ask questions they aren't difficult. The amount of work got overwhelming, especially at the end of the semester. The advice I give to anyone starting out is to do work at the beginning of the semester, even though it's not due until later. It will save a lot of stress when everything is due at the same time. Good luck!

  2. They are a lot of busy work.  I feel like I learned so much more doing substitute teaching and during my student teaching experience.

Oh, and one thing they don't tell you in college- is how hard it is to find a teaching job.

  3. The classes are hard, but not impossible.  The state tests you have to take to become a teacher are hard.

  4. Depends what level you decide. Common sense usually is your best bet. There is alot of writing, and old theories. Education has changed over the past many years. Be prepared to share your ideas and your creativity.

  5. I thought it was really easy.  I guess it can depend on what school you go to...I went to Colorado State University.  Expect a lot of "touchy feely" stuff, group work, etc.  The hardest (but also most educational) part is actually being in the classroom, handling kids and executing lesson plans, etc.  Your education classes should provide you with opportunities like this before you start student teaching.  Good luck and have fun!
