How hard do you think Nascar was praying for a caution late at Dover?!?

I was there and I took a friend and it was his first race. I told him I'd bet him a million bucks a caution would fall soon or at least eventually. Nascar always finds some mystery debris somewhere! A caution would have been nice as it may have produced a more exciting finish but I was happy to see them let the race run out with no gimmicks for once.

I think they were praying for it to go green. That would allow their new buddy Kyle Busch to win.

lol  NASCAR doesn't have to pray for cautions.  If they'd wanted one, there would've been one.  I was expecting one, too.  NASCAR generally likes to bunch the field up.

honestly, i was waiting, no cheering, for one of the other roush fenway teams to "take one for the team" and maybe have mcmurray spin himself out like junior did a couple years back - just to make it interesting.  or like kurt busch did back when he was at roush when he intentionally punted someone in the all-star race to bunch the field back up. THAT would have been teamwork. cheating - yes, but teamwork nonetheless.  what the heck, everyone accused denny of doing it for kyle.

Nascar doesn't need to pray. They can throw a yellow flag whenever they want to. I think they were more in a hurry to get the race over with so the teams and personnel can abandon Dover before it gets dark. It is unusual when Nascar lets the race run its own course instead of bunching up the field for one final run to the checkers.

Nascar doesn't pray for them, they can throw one anytime they want to, I was hoping Fox's Digger would run out on the track and take a dump and we'd have a caution,  so they could bunch the field up for a close run at the finish.. I was praying for one big time atleast to see some racing..

They weren't praying as hard as I was LOL  My driver finished 7th and was the first one a lap down.  I just find it funny that people complain about late race cautions that bunch the field up but the same ones complain about how boring a race is when you have long green flag runs and very few cars on the lead lap.  No matter what happens there are going to be a bunch of people whining about what should have happened.
