Because some recent plans fell through, I am probably going to have to live at my parents house next year and commute to the university I attend. It is about a forty minute ride without traffic and I am hoping to set my schedule up where my classes are a little bit later in the morning so I don't have to deal with morning traffic. Also, I am going to have to have an internship a couple of days a week that I will have to drive to that is about an hour away. do you think this will be difficult to do? I am an A student as well.

  1. It really depends on the university and on you, but I wouldn't recommend this unless you're really desperate.  Find another place to stay that's close to the university.  Take out student loans if you have to.  If you're going to a "residential college" where most people live around campus, then being a commuter is going to cut you off from the college experience and ruin your social life as well.

  2. you will loose about two hours of each day...

this will cause you to sleep less and/or allow less time for study.

you may find that you are more stressed

can you find someone to commute with?

that way you can share the driving!

  3. Just have to allow enough time for traffic delays and weather. Study on campus between classes.Use your time efficiently and you will do fine. Good luck.
