How hard is AP Physics (B)?

Question

I'm going to be a Sophomore in high school. I'm going to be in pre calculus and AP Physics B.

How hard is it? What's it like?

im a junior and i took pre calculus and phisics last year should have tooken IPC lol. but it depends on how smart you are but pre cal was kinda hard and physics was HARD to me. thats just me though

Kudos! I'm a senior this year, and I'm taking AP Physics B as well. I think it's going to be easy because it's my favorite subject, and I got straight A's in physics honors. I also think it will be fun, if you're a geek like me.

To be honest, it's really really really hard especially if math is not your strongest subject.  I took it while I took pre calculus & most of the rest of my classmates were in AP calculus & even THEY had a hard time! You have to teach yourself a lot and be a quick, logical thinker.  The class is not impossible but requires a lot of focusing and hardwork.  good luck if you're taking it!

You think you have enough time to take two science classes in one year?

You only need 3 years of science.

Take it easy and live some.

You really have to focus to pass. Pay attention and do all the assignment you might not get any free time during testing time. Just don't stress yourself and you will be fine.

you are going to be really frustrated and overwhelmed with ap physics. i don not suggest taking that class.  im not trying to scare you or discourage you. im just trying to be honest with you, unlike many people who say you can do it; you'll be fine. ap physics made me want to rip out all my hair. i don't know you, but if you are really smart, analytical, mathy and sciency, then i guess you will do fine. if you are not then you will have trouble with it. patience and understanding every single concept is the key to success in that class. good luck. i hope all goes well!
