How hard is AP World History in high school?

Question

With my freshman year ending on Wednesday, I'm guessing that my grade in history will stay at an A.

I'm taking AP World sophmore year, and I'm just wondering how hard it's going to be. Any tips?

Also, what's the point of taking AP classes? Will colleges like University of Washington accept the credits from them?

AP World history is no that hard so i hear. i have some friends that have been through it and they said it was challenging but no to bad

It depends on your teacher. For me, my AP world history class was a okay. The teacher was really nice but he didn't teach the class at all. He just handed a butt load of work for us to do and he just watched tv for the rest of the period.

The point of AP classes is to offer you college level classes to see how you'll handle them. AP credit depends on your colleges individual policies towards the Advanced Placement Program.
