How hard is Algebra 2 in high school?

Question

I've been thinking about teaching myself Algebra 2 over the summer and then taking the final test when I get back to school to get credit for it. It would be learning a whole year's worth of class during summer. My question is, how hard is Algebra 2 compared to Algebra 1 or Geometry?

I thought that Algebra 2 was very easy as was Algebra 1..got  A's in it all...Geometry was pretty easy too..It all depends on how well you get math though..

If Alg1 and Geometry aren't challenging you, than it could be that you've been ready for Alg2 for a while. My only concern would be that since you haven't had to try very hard to do well in these two classes, if Alg2 really is a challenge for you it will basically kcik your butt. But I don't knwo you, so I can't really tell you how hard it would be. I can tell you that it's been kicking my tailbone rather hard this year, but I don't have a good grasp of Algebra when I started. You might be different.

If you did that well in the first two, you have nothing to worry about.  Trig and Calc, those are harder.  Alg 2 just continues where Alg 1 left off.
