How hard is English language A-level coursework?

Is it easy or hard to get a good grade in your a-level English language coursework?

And how much does it depend on the marker?

It's as easy or hard as you want to make it. You want a good grade? You'll have to work hard on it, and consider things in depth instead of at a superficial level.

And yes it does depend on the marker - but if your work is obviously good enough for a good grade, rather than maybe just about, you have a much better chance.

A level isn't primary school. It's up to you to make your answers detailed and thoughtful enough to earn a high grade - even if the question being asked is apparently very simple. Just answering it isn't good enough any more.
