  1. Well I did Applied ICT which is worth 2 GCSE's instead of just the one (82% Coursework and 18% Exam) and my course was sooo easy! You would not believe how easy it is to get a good grade! Its virtually impossible to fail... I got an 'A' in my coursework and I'm still awaiting my exam grade and for them to work out my final grade (Hoping it'll be A*).

But you have to be prepared to do work rather than just muck about as I learnt, I was rushed into finishing my work... I was on a grade 'C' in February (Course finishes end of April) and 2/3 months I got my grade up by 2!

  2. I think that you will be disappointed with ICT, especially at GCSE. I took it at the end of year 9, and I hated it. Then I went on to do AS level ICT this year (year 11) which was a bit better but still not that good.

ICT is all about who uses computers and for what purpose, not how they work or how to use them.

I'm doing AS computing in the sixth form which should be better. It's about programing and how a computer works.

Compare these two past papers and see which you prefer. The first is GCSE ICT and the second is AS Computing.
