  1. Definitely in Class. In each of my class I had to draw like 10 graphs showing 100 different curves and can be confusing if u dont follow whats going on. Its more understandable in class and u get help from class mates when u dont understand.

I'd fail it if I had done it on the web.

  2. Intro level Micro & Macro Economics uses more of a graphical and verbal approach to some of the principals of economics, such as supply and demand, utility, etc. There is some math used as well so you'll want to know at least some algebra. Intermediate Micro and Macro take more of a mathematical approach and can be difficult for some. Advanced graduate level Macro/Micro can be very difficult and consists of upper level calculus, algebra, Logs, regressions, etc.

It really depends what kind of thinker you are. I absolutely love economics and so I enjoyed the classes and got As and an A-. I was, however, an economics major. Those who major in business administration and other less analytical subjects such as marketing, tend to have a more difficult time comprehending some of the principals.

I have read before that Economics is one of the most difficult classes out there, but if you put your mind to it, attend classes and study, you should do fine and may even fall in love with the subject.

I'd advise that you take them in a classroom setting as the subject can be difficult and it is nice to be able to ask the professor question.

PS. Micro is typically thought to be a bit more difficult that Macro, as it tends to utilize mathematics a bit more and have principals which are a bit more difficult to comprehend.

I hope this helps and good luck!

  3. I dont meant to scare you but that class is a nightmare!!! It was the hardest class i ever took (macro), i took it in a class so i dont know if it is easier on the web! But good luck
